Healthy Baked Salmon & Salmon Rescued when overcooked.

Salmon Baked and Salmon Rescued when over cooked.

Baking is one of the best methods for cooking salmon.  It is also very easy to do.  Simply squeeze some lemon juice on your salmon steak or fillet and season with salt and pepper.  Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until done, about 15 to 20 minutes.  Serve the salmon with sour cream and dill.  You can also make a dip using mayonnaise, soy sauce, freshly ground ginger and grated garlic.  Serve with salad greens and fresh whole-wheat bread.  If you are worried about Blood thickening leave out the greens due to the high Vitamin E concentration.  Some shaved carrots will do just fine with white cabbage in place of the greens for the vitamin K.
Here's another healthy salmon recipe that will please everyone: Lemon Salmon Recipe.  For this dish, you will need 2 large salmon fillets.  Place the salmon fillets in pan with skins facing down.  Squeeze a small amount of lemon juice on top of fillets.  In a small bowl, mix one-half cup your favorite Dijon mustard with ¼ cup honey (more for own taste).  Scoop some of the sauce onto the fillets and reserve the rest to serve at the table.  Sprinkle some chopped walnuts on the fillets, and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.  You'll know the salmon is cooked when it separates easily with a fork, it becomes flaky.  Do not overcook, but if you do a little EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) will save the day.  Just add cap full of EVOO and a cap of water over the top, water first, while on plate and place a bowl over it to cover or use another plate upside down.  Microwave it 1 to 1.5 minutes to moisten back up.
